If your item reflects the signs of a well-loved companion, or if damage results from misuse, we offer a paid repair service at a fair and reasonable cost. Each case is carefully assessed to ensure a fair resolution that matches our standards of excellence.

Canvas Evolution

Our canvas is naturally dyed, allowing it to age gracefully and develop a unique patina over time—a testament to the adventures you’ve shared. However, exposure to light and the elements may gradually alter its appearance.

To keep your bag in pristine condition:

• Occasionally wipe with a soft cloth dampened with warm water.
• Air dry naturally, away from direct sunlight.
• When not in use, store your bag in its protective dust bag.

Note: The natural dyeing process means the canvas cannot be re-dyed.

Aging Gracefully with Leather

At Aloo Leather, we embrace the charm of authentic, full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, which evolves with use and grows richer with time. However, under humid or damp conditions, the leather may “sweat,” potentially causing rare dye transfers.

While this is a natural occurrence with premium leathers, it is not covered under our Lifetime Assurance. We recommend taking simple steps to care for your leather product:

• Apply a small amount of leather conditioner as needed, ensuring it dries fully before use.
• Avoid direct sunlight to prevent over-drying or fading.
• Refrain from using harsh chemicals or cleaners.

Shipping and Collection Costs

• Within 12 months of purchase: We’ll cover all costs for shipping to our workshop and returning your repaired item.
• After 12 months: A nominal charge may apply, but we’ll collaborate with you to find the most cost-effective solution.
